Where I’m working now. Tooling for consumer packaged goods brands to keep their product labels compliant.

I joined Okayd as a Full-Stack Engineer in 2021 to help build the audit application that food and CPG brands use to keep their product labels accurate and compliant. As the team grew, I shifted into a Lead Engineer role. CPG label rules change constantly – allergen declarations, nutritional formatting, ingredient transparency – and the cost of getting them wrong is recalls, legal exposure, and brand damage. Okayd’s product is the tool that catches those problems before they ship to shelf.

My work spans the full stack: I built and maintain the core audit engine that compares labels against the active regulatory rule set, developed the reviewer-facing UI for handling edge cases the engine flags, and built the reporting layer that gives brands insight into audit outcomes and a paper trail when their auditors come asking. Compliance isn’t a one-time check – it’s an ongoing process as rules change and as brands launch new SKUs – so most of what I’ve built is designed to be re-run cleanly against a moving target.

Okayd’s audit application helps food brands achieve regulatory compliance, examine various label elements for accuracy, and use best practices to protect brand equity.

If you’re a CPG brand and the label-compliance problem is one you’ve felt firsthand, the waitlist is open.
